As demand increases for its specialty products and services, the need for an Assistant Management Accountant has arisen to support the national manufacturing finance team.
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, this role will work tirelessly to provide accurate and timely analysis of financial information regarding the cost and profitability of this company\'s extensive branch network. From the preparation of monthly financial reports to the reconciliation of manufacturing WIP accounts, this role will call for the careful analysis of transactional processes relative to the manufacturing systems and the accurate reporting of branch profitability.
To succeed in this role, assisting in the preparation of budgets and maintenance of balance sheet accounts, it is highly regarded that applicants hold a degree in Accountancy (or associated degree) together with some practical experience working in the commercial sector. Exposure to ERP systems and proficient use of Excel, including pivot tables, lookup commands and graphs is also strongly desired. In addition, as a large part of your daily requirements will be to liaise between the company\'s branch network and head office staff, strong communication skills are vital.
